MSI 7950 vs SAPPHIRE 7950

Going to order parts for my computer tonight, but noticed that my graphics card went up 30$.... Shouldve ordered it last night. However, I found that the MSI Model is still less expensive. So, I just wondering, which card should i get

The price difference is only ten dollars? how is teh MSI compared to the Sapphire tho, besides the 30$ difference and crysis 3

If you are really on a budget the msi would be better, but the sapphire has higher clock speeds as well as higher memory clock speeds. Its cooler is also slightly better. I would say its worth the 30 bucks, but if you want to save money the msi would still be great.

Is the clocks speeds really that significant, I'm more worried about the quality of the card and how long it will last.

Sapphire is one of the most quality makers for amd out there. Msi is by no means bad, but simply put sapphire is the best. The clock speeds to me would be worth it, but to others maybe not.

i think im going to get the Sapphire one then, I should have gotten it from newegg yesterday but parents told me it could wait till today...

Yeah, it was 199$ with rebate yesterday and now its 229 with rebate today and its also sold out. I just saw the packaging for the HD 7950 by Sapphire, it's not really protective for a card at this price.

It may seem misleading, but all the packages are like that, they are in boxes with plastic casing that hold the card. Plus newegg and tiger package the boxes well while shipping.

Should I buy from Amazon or tiger direct? Also this is my first time buying a AMD graphics card, just wondering how is the support for SAPPHIRE TECH? I heard it's fairly bad. I've only had experience with EVGA and Galaxy, I was original planning on getting the ASUS GTX 660.

I think I'm going to wait till tomorrow to get the card from Newegg. The Sapphire 7950 on tigerdirect requires a 10$ shipping charge, so might as well wait for newegg to restock and purchase it from there. and hey, maybe the price will drop back to 199$
