Solution
Hi SLAMMXJOE,

Sorry, this is going to be tedious. But I promise you, if this doesn't work then nothing will!

Step 1:
Download...
Driver Sweeper:
http://www.guru3d.com/content_page/guru3d_driver_sweeper.html
AMD drivers
Amd.com <- You probably already have these..

Step 2
Reboot into safe mode - Turn off machine, then right after the BIOS screen, tap your F8 button. This will give you a list of OS modes, select Safe Mode and hit enter.

Step 3
Open Driver sweeper, delete AMD drivers.

Step 4
Reboot into Windows, run the previously downloaded AMD drivers.

Step 5
???
Success!

yeah, the drivers can do the trick. Uninstall the older drivers, install the new drivers (can find them on the amd site), reboot and see how it goes.

by the way, does the problem happen with just one game?

Your temps are fine, if it were to pass the 70C, then I'd worry ;-)
So the problem is just with that one game?

If so, adjust the graphic setting within the game. Try different settings (go from high to medium, change the resolution, and reduce the AA (anti-aliasing) setting).

If the above don't work, one "dramatic" test would be to uninstall and reinstall the game (the installer should recognize your system settings while installing the game)...btw, which game is it?

ive tried to adjust all the video settings yet theres no difference but i just rebooted and "no amd graphics driver is installed, or the driver is not functioning properly. please install the amd driver appropriate for your AMD hardware" popped up ? and then my intergrated driver reinstalled itself? and ive been playing blacklight retribution and arma 2 dayz mod

I haven't played the games you've mentioned, but should be ok. I know Blacklight is a DX11 game (nice graphics, takes some extra power of our your card tho)...good stuff.

We're narrowing down the issue (good). It's more likely to be the driver(s). Re-install the AMD driver, make sure to download the correct version, the driver should overwrite the integrated one, when done it should ask you to reboot. Reboot the PC. You shouldn't get any more errors after the reboot. Go your display settings (via the control panel) to make sure the AMD drivers have been installed.

From here, launch your game, go to its setting and ensure it "sees" you have the AMD driver listed/installed. I hope this works

Okay will do but the last time I tried to re install the driver and rebooted it showed that it had installed and also that the integrated driver was also installed? Also when I opened the game although I had updated and was using the latest version of the driver it was still telling me to update the driver to the version I had just updated.

Another option if power efficiency is of no concern, this increased my FPS by 5-15 in most benchmarks. Go to start menu->run->type "regedit". CTRL+F "enableULPS" and set its value to zero. This is just an extra level of power saving but it will also increase heat a small amount (1-3degrees c)
Also you might want to consider beta drivers, as they tend to offer FPS increases but they are generally less stable, so that's up to you.
