I recently had computer problems I posted about it before replies stopped couldn't figure it out, here is the link to what my problem was and still is http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1763412/computer-turns-loud-pop-burning-smell.html

Here's whats new I had tested my PSU with a antec tester got no errors from it so then I tested brand new gpu the fan spun but still no signal, so I then did a rma on both gpu and mobo got them back put everything back together still no signal and gpu fan not spinning.

Could it possibly be my psu and its just not testing with errors or even my cpu or ram?

Ok I read this thread and the previous. I would breadboard this thing, eliminate hardware problems one at a time outside the case.

Try this link, see if it helps eliminate one or all of your components. When smoke is a factor one or all of your components could be fried, including the basis for your entire system, the MOBO. You know electronics run on smoke don't ya?.....When they run out of it they are done. If you hook up simply the MOBO, the PSU, the CPU, the heatsink, the system speaker, and you get no beeps we got major issues. At this point you need another computer or a buddy in the know, and you need to swap out your parts one at a time with his system and see what works and what don't. You could have fried...

You could have fried all of them or just one but if your hooking up a group of questionable components you have no basis for elimination.

I pulled out everything out of the case hooked up the mobo, cpu , heatsink, psu and mobo speaker I didn't get any beeps. Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a computer that I could swap out parts with that's why I just did a RMA with my mobo didn't have a way to test that component I tested a different gpu nothing changed.

Could this mean my cpu is bad or psu? I even tested one ram stick at a time nothing changed with that either.

I would say like the guy in the original post that your PSU is toast, test or not, I'd start there cheapest component to replace, also it is the most commonplace thing to go bad.

Dumb question, but often overlooked, do you have all the power supply cables plugged into the mobo for the CPU, and the 6 pin power cable connected for the GPU?
