So im getting ready to put my first PC build together. I have a Coolmax zu-700b 700w PSU. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817159129.
Should i keep it or just get a different and keep this one as back up? I've read reviews that they "blow up" and have alot of issues over a small amount of time. ive had it for a few months so i cant really return it. if i use it in my build will it screw me over in the long run?

Heres my build so you know what i have.

Hey skuch! I have a Corsair 500W PSU and a 2.1 speaker system from them. Corsair is an awesome brand and you can't go wrong with one of there products. Looking at your build I only think you'll need a 500W. IF you want to play it safe for upgrades you can go with a 550 or 600.

The cx500 is bottom barrel for corsair. It uses cheap capacitors. I had the cx600 and it had to be replaced due to a failed capacitor. I now have an Antec unit which I love. I would go with XFX for sure. They use Seasonic as an OEM and cannot be beat for the price.

There is no comparison between a cx500 and an xfx550 for only $5 more. Obvious choice.

well so far it sounds like xfx is the best. and they dont seem too pricey for my budget. as long as the xfx 550 will be plenty of power to also OC the Cpu a little. i think i have my answer :)
