Building a 3D modeling rig. Complete Rookie!

I have been trying to research this subject for weeks now, and since I have never actually built a computer, it seems like a lot to take in. SO, I need this computer to be able to run maya, zbrush, photoshop, after effects, etc. I'd also like to use it for gaming occasionally, but it will primarily be a 3D modeling & animation machine!

Again, I'm quite new at this and don't really know where to save money and where to splurge. I'd like to stay under $2,500 but I also would rather just have a kick ass machine I won't have to update for awhile :)

SO from what I have gathered (and it may be a totally stupid build so please change whatever would be better! Definitely need as much help as I can get on this!) I have this set up so far:

CPU: i7-4770K
CPU cooler: NXST kranken x60
mobo: asus z87-deluxe/dual
graphics card: evga gtx 770
hard drive: western digital wd black 1tb 7200 rpm
SSD: Samsung 840 evo 250 gb
memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
power supply: Rosewill Tachyon 1000W 80 PLUS Platinum Certified ATX12V / EPS12V
optical drive: LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer

I'm going to be using Windows 8 since I received it as a gift and I'm using vista at the moment, so that will be a huge upgrade!

I also really like the looks of the Corsair obsidian 900d case, but I don't know if that's over kill? I like their 800d case as well. So opinions on that would also be awesome:)

Mmmkay, so if I change the RAM to G.Skill Sniper Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory and the cooler to the Coolermaster 240L Prestige. Those would work better?

And at the risk of sounding stupid, (which I'm sure will happen quite a lot as I try to build this since my ex-bf built my last rig, and I clearly should have paid more attention) that link is for the motherboard coming out soon? Should I wait for the deluxe/quad instead of going with the dual? Or were you saying not to go with that at all? I read it over too, and I think I missed the part about the graphics card. I'm not sure what entirely would be the best card to go with Maya and all that jazz.

For the power supply, I just kind of went with a high number because someone scared me about not having a high enough power supply leading to a ruined computer? lol. What would be best if I wanted to potentially upgrade in the future? It would be best for me just to get what I need now that would last for awhile, but I like the option to upgrade if I can :)

I just read that NVIDIA® Quadro® K4000 VCQK4000-PB 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Workstation Video Card would be a better graphics card? What do you think?

OR EVGA SuperClocked 03G-P4-2783-KR GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card ?

I keep trying to google "best 3d modeling rig" so I keep getting a bunch of different answers.
