Hello everyone, My system is getting a bit older but i'm willing to save the day for some time.. Maybe 8-9 months before i can get a new pc.. I have replaced my hd6850 1gb with hd 7850 2gb sapphire o.c, and now its time to boost the cpu i guess.
I'm new to this cpu overclocking, i have some questions here:
1-) Should i head the bios and change the 'fsb' there? Is it the only thing i should do?
2-) Which is the 'line' i should stop without any extra cooler?
3-) I have 4 gigs of ddr2 1066mhz ram, should i tweak the timings?
4-) Will i get some good boost for gaming if i overclock to lets say '3.4 ghz' from 2.83 ghz?
