This is my first gaming PC build. This build is modified based on a previous build in this forum, but I switched the board from gigabyte to Asus (because it has a better review on newegg) and updated some parts. I am concerned about its compatibility or bottleneck on this new home-brewed build.

This build only have 1 gtx770 right now but I want to keep the possibility for SLI in future. It looks like the motherboard itself include wifi and the monitor include speaker so I did't put them in the build.

Need your advice for any parts need to be changed especially the case (I don't like its look but a lots people recommend it).

You should go cheaper on a few parts. ASUS is great but pricey. Gigabyte has just as much features on their board as ASUS for cheaper though.

changed out the monitor for an IPS one(much better color)
Changed SSD because i do not like Samsungs TLC SSD(they are okay but it is just preference not to mention these ones are cheaper)
Changed Mobo for Gigabyte(price)

Suggestions:
Change 770 to an EVGA one(EVGA GPUs come with 5 year warranty, but are still good)
If wanting to spend more money, get a stronger cooler for better overclocks

Thank you for your advice. It looks like H87 is way cheaper than Z87, whats the difference between those 2 series?

My current games don't need OC, but I might OC in future .

Prob will want to OC in the future, and have your your rig keep YOU happier longer...if budget is tight look to the Asus Z87 A or the Asus Gryphon (sweet mobo), Asus seems to have a better handle on the 1150 mobos than the Rock or GB (won't even mention the rest)

Thanks you for your suggestion. I love the monitor you mentioned.

It is great to save $100 without drop the performance, but I have a few question about your build.

The gigabyte motherboard doesn't support the 1866 memory in your build, do you mean overclock it ?

And the GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H have a few reviews in newegg about its audio and BIOS issue. How good/bad do you feel in your real life experience? Is it reliable?

Does 750W psu provide enough power for gtx770 sli in future?

750W will be enough. It will support 1866, you can overclock it or keep it at stock(XMP profile)

I myself had no issue with GB products I choose this because ASUS has a crappy color scheme(both have pretty much the same thing "Z87-Plus")

If anything, you can just switch update the BIOS if anything is wrong with it(use Q-Flash) It has 2 BIOS so if one of them fails, you can just switch to the other one and fix the other BIOS.
