More about upgrading pavilion 2055a
  1. Get a way cheaper motherboard or don't upgrade it at all. Just use the same motherboard to avoid having to re-install windows.
  2. What motherboard would you recommend?
  3. Also you have that exact board don't you?

I have the Matx version yes. I would not upgrade your board. It will do nothing for performance and will just require you to reinstall windows.
  5. Ok thank you for the advice is there anything else I should change?
