I recently installed a new hard drive and need to install new network adapter drivers so I can get online. The only problem is that I have no idea how to find what drivers I need. I installed a program called everest free that told me that I have wan miniport network adapters, so I tried finding drivers for that but to no avail. Can anyone please help me find proper drivers and get back online?

Solution
Your network card is on your motherboard or it is a separate PCI card?

If it is included with your motherboard (very common now), just go to the support website of your motherboard with the model and find your network drivers there.
If it is the second case, same thing but look for your card model drivers.

I don't see a separate PCI card and this is the support page for my MoBo: http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=556#dl , but I don't see a network adapter driver download. Sorry I'm being dumb but I'm really frustrated.

In the page you linked me (cf. http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/mb/introduction.php?S_ID=556#dl) go to "Drivers", then take the "On Board LAN" driver according to your OS.
If you are using Windows 7, it is the version 7.065.1025.2012.

Download the driver and install it, then it should work very well.

Enjoy.
