hey ,I just bought a Samsung NP 370 so1l with i5 processor and AMD Radeon HD 8750M 2GB. when i started running games (bully, kingdoms of amalur : reckoning) i noticed that the graphics are not that impressive as i thought it should be . i read a bit about the switchable graphic system of AMD and downloaded MSIAfter burner and a fps counter - and it was showing me both that i actually do use the correct graphic card but i only get up to 30 fps .I am quite dissapointed from the preformance of the laptop after seeing pepole running fary cry 3 in youtube on mid high ... would love a hand in the matter.

Remember the HD8000M series is nothing but an HD7000 re-brand. The "real" HD8000 series haven't been released yet. The current HD8000M cards are based on Graphics Core Next - the same architecture the HD7000 are based on.
So basically, what you have there is an HD7750M. Now, I don't really know neither how Bully nor how Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning should be running on that chip, but since Crysis 3 is barely playable @ low settings, I think your card is running as it should.
If you're not satisfied with the performance, try removing the driver, cleaning the registry and reinstalling the latest driver (I'd recommend downloading it straight from AMD's webpage)

I will try give it a shot , but still i can see pepole all around youtube playing solid demanding games and up to date with the 8750 with an i3.. i find it hard to believe that the 8750 is surplus for the requirement but i will try reinstalling all the drivers on both cards
Thanks for taking time to answer my question !

hey .. i am re asking about this one again , i configured via CCC (for this example) rome total war 2 on high preformance . and still the game recocngizes the intel hd4000 . MSI Afterburner still says im using the HD 8750 but 3dmark says im using intel hd4000. i saw a solution that asks to reinstall every single driver but im reluctent to do so cause i cant update my drivers - the installer says that it cant download the drivers due to "incompatiable hardware/software" and i should head to my manufacturer . any help in this issue please :( ?

Hi,

I bought a samsung np370r5e-so5in laptop it has the same graphics card and processor you mentioned. the laptop came with the default windows 8. I couldn't able to play most of the high end games like assasins creed black flag, call of duty ghost and NFS rivals etc... However i played kingdom amular and far cry 3 in high settings, crysis 3 in medium settings.

I try to install splinter cell in my laptop but couldn't able to do it. So, i tried various things like updating my drivers etc... but none of them helped anything so i finally changed my os to windows 7. Now most of the games are easily playeable in my system now. currently I am playing splintercell in my system with medium settings. Crysis worked in medium settings in windows 7 not windows 8. Now i can able to play battlefield 4 in low settings.

I used slim drivers to update my graphics and other drivers because samsung didn't release seperate drivers for windows 7. if you go to their site they will show only windows 8 not 7. Now my current amd drivers version 13.. something.

Recently AMD released "Mantle" may be you try that according to reviewers and amd it will boost your gaming performance to 40%. Moreover wait for sometime because mircrosoft is going to release directx 12. it will also help us to play high end games.
