Hi there,

I have recently just built my first ever PC, everthing went smoothly and I was up and running within about an hour and half. I have Windows 8 installed but cant seem to find a sleep option, when I go in the settings bar and to the Power Button there is only Shut Down/Restart.

I have read numerous tutorials around the internet about changing the power options in Control Panel but still cannot see an option to enable sleep. Anyone any ideas?

More about : sleep option windows

Try sliding your mouse at the top right corner of the screen then click on the search button. Type in battery in the settings tab. Click on power and saving settings. Once that opens choose which plan you want and then customize it by clicking change plan settings.

Yeah I have tried that and still cant see a power option anywhere :/
