Best mobo for FX-8320?

I am looking for a good mobo to pair with the fx-8320 and after some search i chose the Asus M5A97 R2.0 as it has everything i might require and i hear it overclocks well . Is it a good choice or is there a better option around this price range ? For cooling i will use the Hyper 212 EVO.

Solid choice. Someone might recommend another board due to personal preference, but the Asus will do very fine. If you have $20 more to spend, you could look for a 990fx chipset, which is slightly faster and supports quad-sli/crossfire, though I doubt you need that.

Hyper 212 EVO is perfect.

Yeah my first choice was a mobo with the 990fx chipset , but i am not going to sli/crossfire setup at any point and the speed difference isnt really noticeable thats why i picked this one .

Will do , just holding out for some more feedback until i make my final choice . Better safe than sorry .
