Hi, looking to build my first set-up. Will be used for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS6 about 75% of the time, and video editing/rendering with Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS6 the rest of the time.

I'm a console gamer, so not worried about any serious games- maybe a bit of DOTA or Civilization 5 on it, but nothing more. Budget wise, I want to keep it around 1200 GBP, excluding software. Have come up with:

I want to keep the PC small, and coming from a Mac Pro, hence why I like the styling of the BetFenix Prodigy. I've never overclocked before, but am not against the idea if it will bump up the performance massively.

Not sure if there's any benefits of the 4770k over the 3770k, or if the 660 TI will actually aid Adobe much with CUDA? Would I benefit from swapping the Be quiet to a H80i, or is that overkill if I'm not overclocking? I know if I swap I'd have to lose the ODD, which would be a card reader.

Will be adding more SSD drives over time, but want a couple of HDD for storage.

Any help/advice is gratefully received :)

Your build is similar to mine and I use it for 3d rendering, premiere and ae. The only thing I would consider changing is the hard drive. If your going to be working a lot then I would bump it up to 2TB. It might seem like to much space at first but trust me, when you start creating them files and rendering you take up the space quickly.
