I have read other information about this some say that the
molex = fan power
2 pin = LED
and some say that the 2 pin connector is the one responsible for the power control

my mobo is ASRock H77 Pro 4/MVP
my case is a haf 912 combat
now currently it is running at full speed only the molex is connected straight to the psu and the 2 pin connector is just sitting there
what I want to achieve is to be able to control the fan speed by the mobo and possibly making the LED work
is it possible to work all this by just buying an adapter of some kind?
