Not sure if this is the right section or not, sorry if it isn't. I've been experiencing problems with my buddies PC for the past 2 or 3 weeks where the computer just resets itself. It's gotten worse since the first time it's happened like during the first week 1/2 it would only do when the temperature rose to 68 degrees but now it just resets no matter what the temperature is. My friend thinks it might be a graphics card problem, he's using SLI GTX 590 cards. Any help is very much appreciated.

Sorry for the slow response, I'm not sure about the specs but I can ask him about it later and no it didn't give a blue screen, more like someone just clicked the restart button.

Just got the specs.

right now i'm suspecting the PSU going bad. if the gpu are faulty we might see weird color or artifact on the screen dekstop screen or while in gaming session. in some cases faulty gpu will prevent from the pc to boot. would be good if he got other unit to try on with his pc

Yes, we've experienced weird colorations and weird rainbow like webs in some games where we had to reinstall it to solve it, and when creating a box with the cursor the box is also in many colors.

Sadly no we don't have any spare parts that we could test out. He's at work atm so going to wait till he returns, sorry for the wait.
