I have an AMD Phenom II x2 555 processor that is in an AsRock 760GM-GS3.

I have found how to unlock all 4 core in the BIOS but here is where the problem lies.

When I reboot he pc it comes into the desktop great, all the functions work perfectly, but when I load up a game or something that has motion in it. the screen glitches and starts getting these screen tears everywhere.

now I all I did in the BIOS was change the cores to all be active. I did not mess with any of the voltages, multipliers or anything

Any idea idea what could be causing the screen to tear/artifact like that when I start doing something that involves motion on the screen?

I want to use this as a nice gaming rig but I need to figure out how unlock all four cores or at least the third one!

amd disabels those cores because the cpu isn't stable whit them if you are lucky you can unlock them like you did but having them unlocked doesn't mean that they are stable try to disable 1 core and let it run with 3 also a good test program is prime 95 it stresses the cores and if it runs for abouyt 1 hour without crashing then its good
