I currently have athlon 64 x2 3800+, radeon hd 6570 and 4gb of ram on a delta 250w psu. The processor im looking at is the athlon 64 x2 5600 2.9ghz brisbane. It has a tdp of 65w and my current one has a tdp of 89. I found the processor for 30 bucks and i can play bf3 finally with the upgrade. Thanks in advance

Should work fine, but just so I can check, what's your motherboard?

I have ry206. I have a dell inspiron 531s. So i have AM2 socket which is what the 5600+ uses. And to the other guy, they made 2 models of the 3800+. There is the the slower 939 or AM2

I dont have a lot of money. And the processor is only 30 dollars. Right now i am bottlenecked so bad because of my cpu and theres still a little bottleneck if i get the 5600. But still it would help me out a lot
