Whats wrong with my pc

I keep getting freezes like it will freze but when i was with a friend on skype i could hear him and talk to him but the screen was froze is it a driver thing? i think it started after i downloaded the nvidia driver that crashed a lot of gtx560's so is it some left over damage it did on my gfx card or is it something else currently im using their newest driver and i still get the freezes
i5 2500k 3.3 Never overclocked

Really hard to tell, but drivers usually don't do damage to hardware (or very rarely). It's probably only a software problem. Uninstall drivers and install latest version. It could also be related to other drivers, webcam drivers, sound card drivers, etc... Some Skype versions can also be problematic. Make sure you have latest version for everything. Flash BIOS to latest version also, it can help sometimes too.
