Now to the issue.
Three weeks ago, I shipped a new motherboard and CPU from a friend a few states away. These are the components currently in my system, and listed in my specs, and everything worked perfectly fine for two weeks. I just moved to a different city a week ago, and since the move I have been having these issues. Periodically, and without any discernible trigger, my entire system freezes - at least once a day, sometimes as many as five or six. Everything on the screen, all keyboard and mouse inputs, all sound - just stops. This happens instantly and without warning, and happens after anywhere between a few minutes to upwards of 10 hours. At a couple points during the troubleshooting, I have had the system not even turn on. The fans spin, the lights turn on, but nothing starts up. It had been in this state for all of last evening. I have scoured the internet looking for a solution. I have reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows. I have updated all of my drivers. I have tested all 6 ram slots individually, along with all 5 of my ram cards individually. I have tested the voltage on every pin on my PSU and they all came out normal. I have no way to test my graphics card as my motherboard does not have an onboard graphics system. This morning, I tested my PSU with a multimeter. After testing the pins on my PSU, I put my computer back together and just for the heck of it, powered it on, and it started right up. However, after about three hours of running, it locked up again.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on this issue.
