GTX 770 or wait for AMD's 9000 series?

Hello. I'am gonna buy a gaming build, and I don't know if I should wait for the AMD 9000 series to come out, or if I should go for gtx 770 sli now, instead of wait and get 9950 in crossfire. I know it's hard to say. But do someone got any idea how good the AMD 9000 series will be?

So if someone know this

-How much will 9950 cost
-How much more/less performance got 770/9950 then 9950/770?
-Will the price on the gtx 770 drop?

Anyway, please try at least help me to make a choice. I really need some help :)

I've heard that the cards comes out 24-26 September? Is that true? Is specs leaked? Is it possible to calculate how much/less performance a 770/9950 will have more then a 770/9950?

Well the 7970 is basically on par with the 770 already, a little worse. So basically I predict the 9950 will be better then the 770. You have to understand the 770 is just a re-branded 680 clocked faster. The 9950 is a new design. I think the 9950 will be better value because it will initially be priced lower, be faster and come with 3 free games. The only question is if CF will be fixed for eyefinity, if you play with that. If you only play at 1080p I think AMD is the way to go. Either the 7970 or the 9950.

Anyway, someone told me theres no reason to wait and wait till something new comes out. There will always be something better in near future.

But you know, it will be my computer for some years.,, It's a pretty damn hard choice :/

It should ship in October. Its impossible to predict the performance too.

Well, theres so many people with different opinion. That is making it even harder to make a choice. But do you know when the 9950 will come out. And I've heard that the drivers are fixed on CF.

I know. But if I make a big mistake and the 9xxx series will be alot better then a gtx 770, and for a better price. But when do the 9xxx series come out?

Maybe 100 bucks? I'am gonna get 770 sli/9950 crossfire. A reason why I hate technology. You always have to wait :(

It should come out in October. That's what rumors point to. As for the drivers, they are mostly fixed in single monitor displays, enough so that I can recommend it. If you use more then 1 monitor it is not fixed though. They have stated they would release a fix in the future, probably in the next few months.

I will 2 monitors to Christmas. Will the cards come before or after BF4?

Probably before by a little bit. You have to remember that BF4 is an AMD optimized title as well, so will probably perform better on AMD, not by much, but a bit. Not only that but it will be included in AMD's never settle bundle of free games coming with GPUs.

Remember DiRT and how that was also optimised for AMD cards as they were the only ones capable of DX11? And how Nvidia cards were faster when they came along with their DX11 cards? BF4 is likely to go the same way IMHO, all this nonsense about how AMD is the only way to go because of the consoles is just that, nonsense! Nvidia cards are are going to be just as good in the future as AMD cards, maybe even better.
