Here is the system I am going to build. I have been researching for weeks, and this is a semi-final draft of all the components I'm going to buy and throw together. I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve the build/see if there are any compatibility issues.

Although this isn't my first high-end build, it will be my first experience with liquid cooling.

I will be making a build log in a separate thread when I receive the parts that will hopefully answer a lot of questions that newcomers will have.

Hope you like it!

Solution
$800+ spent on the liquid cooling... Yikes! For that money you could get a bunch of Noctua fans, upgrade the CPU (to i7-4770k), upgrade the monitor (to 2560x1440, maybe even 2 monitors), and a hard drive.

If you stick with 1920x1080 you may not need two GTX 780 cards. If a single card gets you 60 or 80 fps, the second one would just add noise and waste electricity. There may be games where a second card would help, but they are rare. Maybe you should check some benchmarks for your favorite games and see if the second card would benefit them.

I'm going to be using 3 monitors, I'll add that.

Screw it, I'm just going to water cool the CPU. As long as I have a Haf-x and I'm using plenty of fans, the GPUs won't over heat. I'm not going to be overclocking either, I just want my games to run on 3 monitors, or one big one

That is true. The first rig I built was with a single Gigabyte GTX 670, and that kept itself cool very efficiently. I just got so caught up in the watercooling business; I will definitely upgrade later, but as for now I just want the components so I can do what actually matters: GAME.

I'm looking for a way to improve/enhance my overall rig, although water cooling is a focus. One thing I considered getting was an i7-4770k, but in the long run both the i5 and i7 will perform exactly the same in pure gaming situations, even if I want to record any action using fraps.
