Hi

I am looking to replace my old samsung 24' 60Hz Monitor with either of the above to use on my gaming rig and honestly can't decide the between the tow.

If anyone has had experience with either or could point me in the right direction that would be great.

In terms of hardware I am running an i5 2500k CPU with GTX 670 GPU.

The games I generally play are the likes of skyrim and BF3 where I can score nice fps.

Thanks in advance.

This is what I gather based on the experiences of those with the monitors and knowledge of what they have.

The BenQ has superior colors, at least out of the box. They both support Lightboost, which is needed for 0 motion blur ( read here: http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/ ). The ASUS supports 144hz, but 144hz doesn't work with Lightboost, so you may find that feature useless if you like the advantages of Lightboost.

I see more people around here who give good reviews of the BenQ than the ASUS. ASUS's best Lightboost monitor is the VG278H, which is possibly the best 27" 120hz monitor.
