Hello all

I have just gone out and bought a new desktop it is a asus essentio cm6730-uk002s. The problem is the graphics card is a Intel HD graphics 2500 but can't run any of my steam games on it can i up grade it or not.

Hi - The HD2500 is the onboard (motherboard) graphics and is not suitable for gaming.

Yes, you can add a discrete video card, your motherboard has a pcie x16 slot which will
accomodate any modern gpu out there. Your PSU is 350w peak, so stick to GPU's
such as hd 7750 which don't require much power and doesn't require a pci-e connector
as your PSU probably doesn't have one.

Wait a minute - just looking at your version - uk002s and it doesn't list an expansion slot.

Unless your manual states that you have a pcie x16 slot, you cannot add a GPU.

I will continue to look at the specs, you could also remove the side panel and look
at the motherboard n see if there are open slots.

how much will this all cost

Ah - plz look above - it appears you cannot add a discrete GPU.
If I find out differently, I'll advise.

Hi - sorry to say - that model doesn't have an expansion slot.

hi i have just found this "graphics card is integrated, it also doesn't prevent you from installing another graphics card and telling your computer to ignore the integrated one."

That's correct - your hd2500 is integrated. Your problem is that your motherboard doesn't
have a slot
for you to add on a graphics card.
