What size of graphics card would fit with my motherboard?

I have a F2a85-v pro and a case that is 18in long. I am not worried so much about the card fitting in the case as much as I am about the card fitting with the motherboard. I want to know if I buy a new GPU that it will be ok if it goes past the mobo a couple inches. Thank you in advance.

Best solution

a b U Graphics card
a c 75 V Motherboard

It makes no difference if a card goes past the board, in general. Depending on the layout of a particular board, just watch out for ports and connectors which may be covered by a card.

In the case of that particular board, it doesn't appear from google pics that anything critical gets in the ( way of the top PCIe slot, and most of the SATA ports are angled to the side anyway.
