Looking for opinions on this £400 build

My friend is wanting a new build for £400 so I've been lurking around reading threads and have come up with the following:

CPU: i3 3225 3.3ghz Dual Core £105
GPU: XFX AMD HD7850 2GB £135
RAM: Kingston Hyper X 4GB 1600mhz
Hard Drive Barracuda Seagate 500gb 7200rpm

These are just random components which I'm still unsure about
Motherboard Some random compatible Gigabyte one i found
PSU corsair builder 430W
Case Cheapest one i could find with a fan

For the CD drive, I'll just take out my one just to install the OS and then use a USB drive we already have to install anything else

Any help would be much appreciated so thanks :)

ChosterF, anyway, PSUs deteriorate so in 1-2 years it won't be 430w but less, and there's no telling how will it affect the PC, it might squeal, turn off, make a big puff and fry itself and other components.

Ah, i didn't think about looking on the RAM speeds for compatibility so thanks for catching that one out, but I did check with it being compatible with the 3225.

Is it worth spending an extra £30 on the Motherboard for the 1600mhz RAM or should i just downgrade the RAM to the standard 1333mhz?

Looks like it might work out just fine, except for HD7850 500w PSU is recommended.

Someone told me that 500w is only recommended for the bad non 80plus cheap PSUs and that a good quality 430W PSU from a producer like corsair should be sufficient, especially with a low power usage of 50W from the i3 compared to the more power intensive CPUs like AMDs phenoms.

Edit: Just found a new motherboard which supports 1600mhz RAM, the correct CPU and SATA 2. a new motherboard which supports 1600mhz RAM, the correct CPU and SATA 2..
Would this suffice?
