very similar in terms of power but it has 3gb vram and 384bit memory interface which makes the gpu more solid. Also overclocks better

what reviews are you talking about?

After the recent few amd driver updates, the hd7950 dominates over the gtx660 ti to the point it even challenges the gtx670 at times.

People debate about gtx670 vs hd7950 nowadays and gtx660 ti is just not in the league

if you are after phys x, you should go for the gtx660 ti

yep also mind you, most reviews on hd7950 were made before the driver update that dramatically improved their performance. So try reading other forums where real people would tell you how much the hd7950 has improved since 13.1-13.4 drivers
