1200 Dollar Gaming PC Budget Build

I have 1200 dollars to spend on a Gaming PC. The price is at 1254 dollars. I would like to change either the CPU or the case, but not the graphics card. This is on amazon btw.

Also, removing the optical drive completely would be alright.

With parts picker go back in see if there any combo deals. If you have local micro center there CPU prices are low and they have combo discount on up and mb. Dropping down to a 4760k you should be fine.

Unless you need hyper threading, drop to the 4670K and maybe take some of that and go to a bigger SSD (128GB) and kick your DRAM up to 1866/9 be much happier with the overall performance increases

along with the look at pcpartpicker.com the CX series from corsair are not as good as the rest of the models and 750 watts is more than needed even for an OC'd haswell and 770 SLI set up.
if you must shop @amazon
XFX PRO550W Core Edition 80+ Bronze $61.24
or if you are sure you are going SLI later than the 650 watt for $83.11 -before $10 rebate - would be better.

oh, and to echo what trademan stated, a 128gig SSD is pretty cheap. anymore there is no reason to get such a small SSD with what prices are now.
