Hey guys,

I just downloaded and installed splinter cell blacklist from uplay which in itself was one of the worst things ever. Took basically all day to download from their site. Anyways I finally got it running and then realized I should install the patch, so I did. The first game I played was online co-op on a mission and some of the map/textures were completely missing, guys walking in the air. I exited then tried again and its worked fine except I keep losing connection now to most people after about 5-10 min. I don't believe its my connection, this is a brand new build and Im pretty sure its not this. So am I possibly using the old version and not the patch? If so how do I find the patch? Any answers would be appreciated, thanks.

Mine took all day too. Did you run the patch after you downloaded it? A install wizard should have run.
Check in downloads or recent places for the file & open it. Ubisoft is the worst, Steam installs patches & updates automatically (all games), why not them. Who releases a patch the same day as the Grand release?

Thanks for replyn man,

Yup ran the patch after downloading all day. Then the patch took about an hour after that. Ill never use uplay again, only reason Im using it now is cuz I got the game free with my video card. And yes, an install wizard ran so Im going to check in recent places now like you said. Thanks for that though, good to know Im not the only one deal'n with that.

They suck, but I had to deal with them because of Far Cry 3 a while ago. When my 780 came with a ubisoft game key, I said not again, we'll see. The day of the release everyone & their brother downloaded & I am surprised there servers did not crash. 18+ hours for a possibly corrupt download is bullsh*t, so if I have to reinstall I would hope 3 hours like normal. Anyway Hopefully no more patches for a while or at least tell me if one comes out.

Nvidia released a driver for Black list 4 days ago. I hope that works.= http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/65047

Here is 9 games for $5.00=bf3, crysis2, mirror edge...ect. some steam some ubisoft if you don't have them. https://www.humblebundle.com/
