hi...i currently use a 500 gb Western Digital hard disk and i have a 500gb seagate i want to use as my primary hard disk...i tried cloning but it will delete all the data on the hard disk....i have lots of data on it and cant move it all t one hard disk....
Is there any way i can just copy the data to and fro so that no data is lost ???? thanks

Solution
does the WD500 have enough room left to hold the all the files that are currently on the seagate?

If so copy them to the WD then when its done you can clone the WD back to the seagate

other than that there is one program that I know of that will move the OS and leave the rest but its not free.

yes...the seagate drive has some data and i cant move it because its just big and i dont want to lose the data either.....

Without a 3rd drive, it will be cumbersome if even possible. If it's an OS drive, you have no choice but to clone it. If it's just a storage drive, you can copy it to the other drive, but again, if the other drive is an OS drive then you will need to clone it which will put your data right back to the drive you swapped it from.
