I was going for a portable PC with a Bitfenix Prodigy case, Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe or AS Rock Z77E-ITX (whichever is better), Samsung 840 Pro 128GB, Seasonic M12II/S12II 620W or Corsair CXM600 (whichever is better) coming to around £360-400.

I'll take a HD 5850, i5 3570k, 2x8GB RAM and 2x1TB RAID array from my old build. My cooler is a CM 212 EVO. Its purpose is to serve as both a HTPC and gaming rig for when the main rig is unavailable or being upgraded.

Would this all theoretically work together? Would the PSUs fit in the case?
Which motherboard is better?
Which PSU is better?
Is the M12II just a smaller version of the S12II, and if so should I pick it because of this?

Off topic, but could anybody estimate how much it would all weigh?

Solution

The Bitfenix Prodigy is a big case, if you want something portable I would go with the Silverstone Sugo SG05. Also to answer your questions.
The Asus motherboard is better
The CPU cooler will fit, but it is a tight fit
The PSU will fit

Thanks. While we're at it, do you know the difference between the S12II and M12II? From what I can see the M is slightly smaller.
^never mind I found that the M is modular and the S is standard

Also, would the parts listed fit in the SG05?
^never mind the case was too small for me
