I have a FX-6300 (AM3+) and an ASUS M5A97.
It appears to me that my computer for the last couple of months has been making this noise. it's not a fan noise, it's more like a beeping/screeching noise.
It appears to be coming from my CPU area but I have no idea what it could be coming from so I could fix it.
I also have a CX750 so it shouldn't be my PSU.
The backplate for the CPU fan was hot when I touched it.
It is the stock backplate but I got an after market cooler that uses that backplate.
I have tried replacing the CPU cooler but i'm still having the same problem.
Could anyone help?
