hello my english is not good.

my question is that i bought a fan. and i only have one 3 pin cha-fan connector on my motherboard and its already used for another case fan. and i really want to get the one i bought to work im thinking of buying an 3 pin y splitter and connecting it to the only 3 pin cha-fan connector i have. it will be 2 fans running on a 3 pin cha-fan connector. if it works will they be able to go max rpm?

More about : pin splitter case fans

Yes it would work, just avoid using more than 2. I've read somewhere that the voltage there WILL NOT be enough if you put about 4 fans, because a case fan needs a higher voltage on "startup". So 2 would be safe.

Some even use up to 4 fans on one mobo header. And they said it's still running fine.
