Building my first computer! opinions?

Decided to try building my own computer with a budget of about $1200

Just wanted to know what people think of the build. I still need a PSU and an optical drive but I am not sure what wattage i need, was thinking of a modular one from corsair?

estimated wattage of your build is around 261W.
you will be safe with a 500W PSU, a 80plus modular would be good

That is looking good, BUT the GPU is very underpowered for these specs. The i5 is overkill for the 7770. I'd suggest you to swap out some parts, and balance it out. You want a more balanced rig, than this type of rig. No offense bro.

You can cut the SSD, and get a 7950 for the money you can save. The video performance would be very great.

No offence taken man haha yea i thought that might be the case, but at the moment i don't exactly plan on playing heaps of games maybe just a bit of LOL. I was thinking of maybe upgrading it later but until then i thought I would be better with the benefits of the ssd.

Well yea, if this rig would be used as a workstation, then go with the parts you've picked. I though this would be a gaming rig, forgot to ask.
