I switched out my graphics card from a geforce 7600 gt to an amd radeon hd 7850, and my sound went out! My speakers were working great before... all it shows now is a speaker with an x in a red circle. Dont know what to do

Solution
Go into Control Panel --> Device Manager.
Towards the bottom of the list, you should see an entry for "Sound, Video and game controllers" or something similar.
Expand the tree.
I suspect you'll see your sound devices listed here and each will have a yellow exclamation point.
If this is the case, please list each device listed here.

If this is a custom built system, please list your motherboard manufacturer and model number.
If this is an off the shelf, system, please list the system manufacturer and model number.
