Hi,
I have a Pentium 4 3.06Ghz that should support HT, but I don't think HT is enabled, the BIOS doesn't seem to support it.
Mobo link
Strangley the CPU is support by the mobo but there is not HT setting.
Is there a way to enable it?

More about : enable pentium

Hi

Have you used CPU-z to confirm P 4 actually a model with HT .

This is a very old motherboard so unless a bios upgrade is available which enables HT you are out of luck

On your motherboard, the only CPU supported with HT is the 3.06GHz P4 Northwood (512KB L2) according to the CPU support list on the ECS website. This means they may not have placed an HT option in the BIOS. Check in the device manager on your copy of Windows, and open Processors. If HT is supported, you will see the processor listed twice. If HT is not supported, the processor will only be listed once.
