Hi,

I have an EVGA GTX 660 and was thinking of upgrading to a GTX 760 since its only a little more money. I wanted to know if EVGA is the best brand and if not what are some of the best brands for graphics cards? Also if you have a better idea of what to upgrade too I'm all ears

Solution
True about the 2nd 660 in SLI but I always go with the best single card I can afford every 2 years to maintain every game on ultra settings. Personally I would go with the 760 or 770 for future proofing. I just upgraded from a 3Gb MSI 580 to a EVGA 780 classified and couldn't be happier, its twice the card I had before. EVGA and MSI are brands you can't go wrong with. EVGA has their step up prgram for 90 days and good customer support. Never had an issue with either brand.

Generally, it's not recommended to upgrade unless ya move up 3 tiers or more.

EVGA FTW and Classified lines are dependable and decent performers. I can't get behind the SC series as to my mind factory OC'd cards should get a PCB and VRM upgrade and not just a cooler upgrade.

Well the thing is I just bought the 660 and for my budget I just want one card so I could still return the 660, I'm not going to be over clicking or anything and I want to be able to play newer games on good quality

If you can return it then I'd return it and get the radeon 7970. It's a much better value then the 760.
