Zotac Geforce GTX 560

I just upgraded my video card from GeForce 9600 gt 1 gb to GTX 560 and I am still having some problem with first person shoot games slowing down on me. is my solution speeding up my video card?? if so how far can I push it with out damaging it ( I am using firestorm)

Best solution

It depends on the card. It will stop working once you go to far, but that shouldn't damage it in the long run, just dial back a few mhz. I used this. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/340404-33-wolfram-ove...

It's likely a CPU bottleneck. The Q6600 was a very solid processor of it's time, but it's slowing down now. Your best bet would be to OC the processor.

Holy craps, look the RAM. I doubt the mobo supports DDR3, but if it does and the CPU does too I would go for that 100%.
