Could my battery be getting low

When I boot up the screen freezes at the Bios Manufactorer Screen. I have to short the reset on the MB in order to get the boot up to continue. Could this be the battery?

CMOS batteries should last years, but they are dirt cheap to replace if you have issues.
I would take note of BIOS settings, pull the battery, wait 10 minutes for system to lose configuration, replace CMOS and setup BIOS.
Just to make sure that you haven't got any corrupt information in BIOS.
