Hi there. I'm planning on upgrading my PC for Christmas instead of getting a larger monitor but I am not sure what I should be upgrading first. Anything to help performance in video games.

Here's my specs:

Mobo (I think) - Asrock H55M Pro

Processor - Intel Core i5 2.80GHz

RAM - 8192MB

GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 (1GB)

More about : decide upgrade

That was actually an error, sorry to disappoint. :sarcastic:

I was actually looking at a 760 earlier. Will my other specs be able to support that? I assume so since you recommended it. :D

What's your full Intel Core i5's name?

I don't have the box any more I don't think. Dxdiag says

"Intel Core i5 CPU - 760 @ 2.80GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.8GHz"

Your computer will support any new graphics card, GeForce GTX 760 is a great choice, altough it might bottleneck a little, but not much.

I knew it was an i5 760 from the start as soon as you said its 2.8ghz. They are great cpus easily overclockable to 3.4ghz minimum with stock coolers. I have had one for years running at 3.8ghz. gtx760 wouldn't be bottlenecked at all
