ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 not working

Hi, I think I might have a problem with my MOB. I bought it recently along with an AMD FX-8350 processor and QVL compatible RAM. After installing everything I'm running into problems to make the system boot. It's always with the CPU red led on and the MemOK red led blinking. No matter how long I press the memOk button, it does nothing. Everything else is receivng power and seems fine. I even managed to get it to boot once and see the BIOS on screen but that's it, it never happened again.
I replaced the RAM with no luck and the power unit just in case. Is there any idea, suggestion or workaround before I start blaming the processor?

What is the part number of the memory?

Hi, There's a barcode sticker on the motherboard. The last 4 digits on that sticker stand for the BIOS version. See if older than 1006. If yes, then use the Flashback for flashing the BIOS.
Is the CPU fan spinning when starting the board?

^ That would be my first thought also make sure your BIOS is up to date.

Hi people. It's solved!

The problem was with the case. I tried taking the mob outside the case and powering it on and it worked like a charm. I attached it back to the case and problem was back again. I saw one of the bolts was making contact with another from the case in the right side, so I loosened the mob a bit from the case and voilà. Managed to install OS
