So, a month or so ago I bought and built my computer. I only had my SSD at that time, and I installed windows and everything on it. I just got my 1 TB Hard Drive but everything still keeps downloading on my SSD (It's only 64GB give it a break D: ). So now I need to change it to where everything downloads on my HDD. So Is there a way to keep your OS on the SSD (I like fast boot times o.o) but have everything default download on the HDD?

I'm on Windows 8 if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

It will be there, thats exactly what I did running the same config. You might have to try to select the folder from a different way, like going into your hard drive, then user, etc. As for games, are you downloading most of them from Steam? If so, download a little program called Steam Tool. ( http://www.stefanjones.ca/ ) You will HAVE to download it to the SSD if your steam program is installed on it, but after it is downloaded, you can use the tool to transfer it to your HDD and it will remain functional through the steam client as it puts in linked folders in place of where the games would originally be.

Change the location ofyour user folders like "downloads" or "documents" or whatever is selected as the primary download location. Its usually the "downloads" folder. To do this, right click the folder, click properties, under the location tab on the far right, click move, and put the folder in your HDD.

There's no location tab and not all programs download to there. Most games download to Program Files (x86). All I want on my SSD is a few games and my OS. All the other stuff needs to be on my HDD :L
