EVGA GTX 780 System

Solution
It's not a build I would do ....seems focus was on flash over substance

-What benefit is Windows Ultimate in a gaming rig ?
-Too mnay lights
-What benefit is hyperthreading in a gaming rig ?
-Too many badges
-Id rather see twin 770s in a 850 watt PSU
-Corsair HX850 has lower ripple and better voltage stability
-AX860 a bit light for overclocked CPU and GPUs
-Sentry 2 wuda made better fan controller .... more power, less flash
-Wuda used better cooler.
-Wuda used wired KB / Mouse
-Never wuda chosen slow IPS monitor
-Sabertooth great workstation MoBo....for "High End Gaming Rig" wuda used Maximus VI Formula

Well first for a gaming rig I would have not gone for a i7 it is just a waist for a gaming rig. A i5 would have been a much better choose.

Way to many lights to much flash. I like having my case lite up also but sometimes you can go overboard and I feel that is the case here.

As for the CPU cooler with what you have put into it I would have gone for a custom water cooling setup.

As for the GPU I would have gone for a GTX 770 SLI instead. The GTX 780 is just to much money compared to the little performance increase you get or rather do not get going from a GTX 770 SLI.

Way to many case badges and lettering. But that is my opinion and if it is what you like then that is fine. But you did ask for our opinions and that is what I have tried to give you.

That's fine guys. It is each and every one for there own. I would like to make a couple of points though.

Firstly, a high end MOBO like the Maximus has absolutely no gain in terms of FPS or anything to do with gaming over 99% of most mid range motherboards and I bought the Sabertooth because they are known for the strength and longevity.

Secondly, the i7 has no real benefit for gaming but then again the i5 does not have any more benefit for gaming than the i7 so for the extra little buck and for just having a bit of peace of mind the i7 is a no brainer really.

Thirdly regarding the GPU. Now every single forum I have been in and Mr Linus himself generally ALL state that a single GPU is much better to run games than any sli set up as long as you can afford a high end card. The memory you get with sli set up systems halves anyways and most won't put out much more than 2, 3 max of DDR5 memory (or equivalent). This card is about 10% worse off in performance terms than the GTX Titan which we all know is the best card on the planet right now and when this is overclocked like mine is you actually get more FPS in a lot of games than a Titan for £300 or $500 cheaper! A couple of my mates have issues running games in SLI with multi monitor setups and I don't want any issues with any games at all. In my opinion 1 card but a powerful one is much better than sli set ups.

As for watercooling, that is just for aesthetics unless you are massively overclocking your system which I have not done here and in a mid tower case, especially the Zalman Z11, there just simply isn't the room for it. Maybe in my next build when I use a cosmos 2 :)

As for all the bling chaps, I am not plain, nor minimalistic but quite the opposite so the flash suits me fine ha. I hope you liked the build anyways
