okay so i have a family computer upstairs that connects to multiple devices, 3 laptops and other things such as ipads. I have a modem and a netgear router.
I have another computer(gaming pc) im going to put down stairs in the basement witch is on the other side of the house how can i connect the too? Running a 100ft+ ethernet cable is probably not a good choice for my house.
Is it possible to have them connect ??
im not very good with networking. Or
can i just have another modem and router down stairs with the computer or will it cost me more form the cable company?
I have optimum for a cable provider.
