Hello there,

I got an "Odys Digi Eye 1" camera but it doesn't work on my PC. When I had Windows XP it worked well and now I have some problems when I installed Windows 7 64bit. The camera works cause I can see a green LED when one is on but I need a driver which is exactly for my cam. I can't find it on Windows Update. Hope you can help me guys.

Search on google for the driver. Windows 7 Should have automatically install the driver for camera if it detect the camera, it either didn't detect the camera or the camera is too old OR doesn't have a doesn't have a driver

I didn't find any helpful information on Google. I have no idea why Windows Update can't find the driver for my camera. I have the driver for this cam but it doesn't work on Windows 7. When I had Windows XP the driver worked well.

Connect yours to his computer see if it works with same wire you used from your computer.

Just to make sure, go to Device Manager and find the camera and select "Update Driver Software"

We live in different countries I can't try this type.

When I try to "Update Driver Software" after searching for the driver it says that Windows couldn't find the driver.

Try disconnecting the power cord for couple of minutes then turn it back on, just do every trouble shooting and see what happens lol..

I found the website (http://www.odys.de/web/web_lan_en_hmp_1_mp_1_an_X420001...) for the webcam but found no drivers. Only thing I can think of is to contact the company for support.

I contacted to support but he doesn't know what to do. He said it's strange that this camera worked on Windows 7 before my Windows reinstall. He sent me drivers but still nothing.

Drivers are free, should cost $0. If one driver and it's the latest but doesn't work then it's most likely either your windows or your camera... Try plugging that camera into multiple PC and leave it connected for 1 minute then see if those computer detected it. You could have probably connect it and awhile it's installing driver you pulled it out.

Driver Genius didn't help me. I have got an old PC with Windows XP and camera works there. Then I try to plug in my camera into a newer PC with Win7 and then pop up Windows Update and it doesn't find the camera.

I don't know how but this camera worked on same computer as I'm trying on now.
