Hello, I have a i7-4700HQ processor and it came with the GPU deactivated, im always using my GTX 765m since the integrated GPU is not there or deactivated, anyone know If my processor actually has the integrated GPU and should I activate it? how?
Probably not, try though contacting ASUS Support.
What you can do is using Power4Gear for switching between performance or power saving modes. I guess it does the same thing.
I havent done absolutely anything, I dont know much about those things but I just want to use my GTX 765M for gaming and CAD programs and the integrated GPU for youtube and facebook, etc.
I see. Try removing the graphics card and connect the monitor to the onboard.
If working, then it's OK.
Not sure how trying using simultaneously "GTX 765M for gaming and CAD programs and the integrated GPU for youtube and facebook". Have you connected two monitors?
I dont want to use them simultaneously, I widh to use the normal GPU for youtube and such and when I play I want to activate the gaming GPU but not multitask in 2 monitors, I know that some GPU activate and deactivate depending on what programs your are running.
Oh :/ this is a laptop, I forgot to mention it x) I know that the 4700MQ has the integrated GPU active but not the 4700HQ :/ no way to activate it? uggh
