How do you keep CPU in good health?

Solution
Well, use a decent aftermarket cooler to keep temps as low as possible, and periodically use compressed air or somesuch to keep the dust out of the fins. This will keep the cooler working as well as it can. Other than that there isn't really anything you need to do.

And don't forget to change the thermal paste from time to time. Just monitor your temps, when it goes beyond the "usual" then clean it. No need to do it like monthly if your house isn't dusty. That wouldn't make sense. Our house isn't dusty, so I clean it around every 3mos.
