Does a killer network chip work with a different wifi card?

Hi,
I have a question.
I am building a pc in 2 months and i'm asking if the WLAN card that i'm going to be using uses the killer chip.
I don't want to use LAN and i'm not sure if it is useless or not?
The motherboard is: MSI B75-G43 Gaming.
The WLAN card is: TP-Link TL-781N
If something is unclear, feel free to ask.

Killer does not make chips they really are no different than any other provider like tp-link or linksys or whatever. Really the only vendor you see selling cards directly than makes the chips also is intel. Almost every other manufacture including killer uses broadcom or atheros chipsets. Killer mostly uses atheros.

The thing killer does is make different device drivers. The vast majority of their claim is all hype. It involves prioritizing traffic on the machine itself. Gee maybe you shouldn't be playing video and downloading torrents at the same time as you run a game.

They can do nothing to affect the traffic other machines in your house are producing, they can do nothing about wireless utilization in your house, an...

They can do nothing to affect the traffic other machines in your house are producing, they can do nothing about wireless utilization in your house, an they especially cannot in anyway change the traffic a ISP is SENDING to you.

The only place you would even think to get a advantage from one of these cards is if you were running LAN based games. Once you leave the house and use the internet that connection is so slow and jitter compared to a LAN that any advantage the card could possible give is lost.
