HP PC 7100 MT unable to update BIOS

I have been having Hardware problems so customer support recommended that i update the bios on my PC. however, i downloaded the .exe update for my computer but when I try to install the update, there is an error saying "incorrect bios for the system". i double checked the PC make and model and i am sure it is the right update.

you have the hp elite 7100 mt right?

Hi!
The same problem. Two files for BIOS update donloaded from HP site not work properly.
Any suggestiion?

And one more. When I put into PCIe slot my BlackMagic Decklink PCIe card - 7100 wont start!

In HP workstation xw8200 Decklink works perfectly. Why it dosent work in 7100???
