Hello, I have recently been having problems with my pc that I built around 1 month ago.

The problem that I have been encountering is that my pc often suddenly loses power when I am in a game, sometimes it happens when I am booting up my pc or when I am simply browsing the internet. It is not a bluescreen error as the pc just forces a restart and when it's back up there is no info given about a bluescreen.

I have been trying to locate the source of the problem by myself. I have used memtest86 which gave the all clear, so my RAM is fine, and I have used the System File Checker (sfc /scannow in the command prompt) which also gave the all clear, so my Operating System is fine. As far as I am aware all of my drivers are up to date so that leaves me with a suspicion that my PSU is to blame.

I have had a look through the Windows Event Viewer, and it seems that every time the power goes off on my PC, a critical error is produced in there. It is an "Event 41, Kernel-Power" error. Below I will leave a list of my PC components and the details that are left in my Event Viewer. Any suggestions with help will be greatly appreciated as this is a problem that I would really like to fix (for obvious reasons).

Solution
try using just one stick of ram incase there is a problem there, sometimes memtest will ok the ram even if its not entirely ok, or the motherboard itself could be having problems with the ram

Thanks, I would try a different PSU but I have none available right now which is why I want to locate the problem for sure before I start returning things.

Just an update to my problem, I'm certain that it's my PSU because now when I power on my pc it seems to get stuck in a loop of powering on for about a second, then it just dies, it repeats that until I force it to go off, I will probably just RMA the PSU as it seems to be my only option. I'll check back on the pc tomorrow. :??:
