Asrock 990fx Extreme 3 good for overclock?

I am looking for a motherboard.

I found an Asrock 990fx Extreme 3 for about 120 dollars.

I know it is older, but is it good for running an amd 8350 processor. I plan to overclock it, but not for a while.


I am on a budget and I want to invest as much as I can on a video card. Is this board good?

I would go for that if you can, if it fails to boot with the 8350, get an Athlon X2 AM3 processor and update the BIOS with it.

I live abroad and Newegg and Amazon is not an option for me. The Asus MB is about $55 more than the Asrock where I live. Is it really worth it?
